This guy is quite special.  He's Tyler's very first hand-carved basswood figure!   He is "one of a kind" and there isn't a mold of the head, so Tyler will never make another just like him.  He has self-centering hand painted eyes and moving mouth.  Levers and internal mechanics were all custom fabricated from sturdy brass stock.   His head, torso, and hands are all carved from basswood.  He also has balsa legs from the knee down to help reduce weight.

 

       He is also featured in a short 8 min film project that is currently being made about some of Tyler's story.  The last three photos in the photo album are from that project.
